Freedom Park invites you…
For the very first time, Freedom Park draws back the curtain to reveal an exclusive glimpse of one of the most exciting
heritage landmarks to date: //hapo (Khoi-San for ‘dream’) The final element in Freedom Park tells our rich and colourful
story dating back 3.6 billion years from an African perspective. Set for completion in 2010, this sneak preview reveals the splendour of what is to come.

Be the first to witness history in the making in a traditionally South African
celebration of that which sets us apart.

Molopo Nature Reserve

Hi, all

If you want to get away from it all, no mobile phones, no internet, no electricity but water (hot and cold), Molopo in the far North West Province is worth a visit. Inexpensive, this Kalahari Thornveld is well worth a visit. Last 100km is a dirt road in reasonable condition.
This is a jewel, but don't tell everyone.

Regards
Piet de Crom

Going "WILD" in Botswana

Filled with enthusiasm & anticipation we took the long road from Jo-burg to Martin’s drift border post in Botswana. Just after the border we had our first lunch under the Botswana skies before we pushed onto Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Serowe the birth place of Botswana’s first president- Sir Seretse Khama. Soon before long we reached Maun and with a bit of hustling & bustling after a day of driving through real wilderness.

CAPE BIRDING TRIP

Hello All,

Had a fantastic Cape birding trip - walked away with two lifers, a Sandwich Tern and the Knysna Warbler. Our guests walked away with 5 lifers - fantastic. We decided to go through to West Coast National Park and we had the most exciting siting in ages of a Caracal. We were privileged to sit with her for a good hour and watch her on the hunt. She managed to catch a striped mouse before departing to catch something larger.

Where to now?

We are after the Striped Flufftail - this time catching it on camera,
