IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM VOORTREKKER MONUMENT/BELANGRIKE KENNISGEWING VAN VOORTREKKERMONUMENT

Good Day.

Please note that the Monument will host a church service on 16 December. The church service starts at 08:00 and ends at 10:45, when the Monument will open for visitors. Please be aware that visitors who attend the church service between 08:00 and 10:45 do not pay an entrance free, although the Monument will not be “open” for either sightseeing or guided tours. This means that only people attending the church service will be allowed access to the Monument. From 10:45 onwards normal entrance fees will apply and visitors will be able to go about their normal sightseeing or guided tours in and around the Monument.

The Monument will be closed for visitors on 25 December. However, visitors will still be able to access the site for Christmas lunch at the Voortrekker Monument Restaurant. Bookings for the restaurant can be made on 012 321 6230. The Monument will be open for business on 26 December.

Daar is ’n kerkdiens in die Voortrekkermonument op 16 Desember. Die diens begin om 08:00 en eindig om 10:45, waarna die Monument sal oop wees vir besoekers. Neem asb kennis dat besoekers wat die kerkdiens bywoon, nie toegangsgeld betaal nie, maar dat die Monument gedurende hierdie tyd nie “oop” sal wees vir toeriste of begeleide toere nie. Slegs persone wat die kerkdiens wil bywoon sal toegang tot die Monument verkry tussen 08:00 en 10:45. Gewone toegangsgeld sal na 10:45 van toepassing wees vir toeriste en begeleide toere.

Die Monument sal gesluit wees vir besoekers op 25 Desember. Mense wat Kersete in die restaurant geniet sal wel toegang tot die terrein verkry. Besprekings vir die restaurant kan gedoen word by 012 321 6230. Die Monument sal weer oop wees vir besoekers op 26 Desember.

Update your info
To update your information please follow this steps
1.go to SEARCH (main Menu) click users and enter your GPno.
2.Click on your GPno link when it returns
3.You are now able to see your public information
4.Click Request new password (Below Login)
5.enter your GPno or email address
6.Computer will send new password link to your email address
7.Click on link in password email
8.you will now be logged on to your details
9.change your password and keep for future reference
10. Now update all your detail and your picture (max size 85x85pxl)
To check the email in the database
1.Click Guide Search on main menu
2.Tick email under Display options
3.Find your GPno and confirm the email address that the password has been sent to.
4.If you don’t have access to the email in database please send an email to gautengguides@gmail.com with your name and GPno and new email and it will be reset
