Gauteng Guides Association (GGA) would like to invite you to our next General meeting to be held on 11 April 2011 at the Lion park .

This informative session is just to keep our members updated on the guiding industry and give the opportunity to network with other members .The main focus of this meeting will be insurance, and we are pleasured to have Pierre Marais from Widesure TTU to come and explain all about tourism insurance .As a leader in the field of tourism insurance and the underwriter to the GGA insurance he will unpack the tourism insurance specific to tourist guides , so to have all your questions about passenger liability,public liability,tour cancellation and many more answered please join GGA on 11 April 2011

Departure

The lunch been offered to members is at a cost of R30 pp (subsidised by GGA) and will be a full buffet braai in the Boma at the Lion Park

As GGA will be paying for lunch we definitely will need you to RSVP by Friday Morning 09:00 8 April 2011

General Meeting

I was on leave for a week and was so disappointed when I saw the invite and realised that I am missing out on today's meeting! Will get details later.
We need to train site guides for Ditsong: Pioneer Museum If you know of any individuals who would be interested, please ask them to contact me on my other email address: caroline@ditsong.org.za Ideal for Gauteng
guides who are not very active, even for retired teachers as we get many school groups. It is also seasonal and doesn't secure a regular income, usually during school terms from 09:00 - 12:00

Update your info
To update your information please follow this steps
1.go to SEARCH (main Menu) click users and enter your GPno.
2.Click on your GPno link when it returns
3.You are now able to see your public information
4.Click Request new password (Below Login)
5.enter your GPno or email address
6.Computer will send new password link to your email address
7.Click on link in password email
8.you will now be logged on to your details
9.change your password and keep for future reference
10. Now update all your detail and your picture (max size 85x85pxl)
To check the email in the database
1.Click Guide Search on main menu
2.Tick email under Display options
3.Find your GPno and confirm the email address that the password has been sent to.
4.If you don’t have access to the email in database please send an email to gautengguides@gmail.com with your name and GPno and new email and it will be reset
