On the 7 Feb 2012 a group of volunteer tourist guides once again took to the streets in Pretoria to check on illegal guiding. This ongoing project is very successful as the awareness of illegal guiding is been placed out in the open .
Monitors speak to guides on coaches and private tours checking registrations and promoting the renewing of registrations , complete illegal guides are instructed in way to become a legal tourist guide and information is taken on the tour operator as these are the real culprits in the industry--- employing illegal guides
Thanks to all the monitors for giving up some of your time to protect our industry
